Skipping rope workout techniques
Skipping ropes are quite easy to learn, simply jump as you spin the rope towards your feet. Don’t jump too high, just enough to clear the rope.You can jump with both feet or take it in turn
Skipping rope varieties
Weighted rope – these kind of ropes are heavier, hence adding to effort required and improving the workout
Speed rope – these kind of ropes are lighter and may contain ball bearings in the handle to allow for a faster spin, forcing you to jump faster
